  YOHAGAN SUPPORT: SETTING UP E-MAIL IN OUTLOOK

The following screens are captured from Outlook XP and will explain how to set up the email account.

(If you're using an older version of Outlook or a different email program - even on a different platform, the same settings will apply and most of the terms will be the same, but the menus will most likely look very different.

1) Go to the menu and pull down TOOLS and click on EMAIL ACCOUNTS.

2) Click on Add

3) The Server Type of your e-mail account is POP3. Select POP3 and click on Next.

4) Fill out all the appropriate information in the Internet E-mail Settings window.

Your Name is how your name appears on screen. Your email address is your FULL address. emailaddress@domain.com

The incoming and outgoing mail servers are identical.
(eg. mail.domain.com)

Your Username is identical to your email address. Again, use the FULL address
(eg. billybob@domain.com
- not just "billybob")

After you've filled everything in, click on More Settings . . .

5) Click on the OUTGOING SERVER tab.

Make sure the check box is CHECKED like below - Yohagan email servers DO REQUIRE outgoing authentication.

Use the same settings as the incoming mail server (set up in the previous screen).

If this option is unavailable, then re-input the same information that you did on the previous instruction.

6) You're done! Go E-mail and receive e-mail in peace.
